My experience in Austria

Austria is a wonderful country to explore if you love the outdoors, are interested in gorgeous architecture, or enjoy trying really good food. We have travelled throughout the country on several occasions, and always look forward to coming back.

And if you are travelling to Austria in December, you may want to look into visiting the Christmas Markets. Vienna has one of the oldest in the country. Salzburg and Innsbruck also have gorgeous markets, so you really can’t go wrong.

  • Transportation Tip – It is pretty easy to get around Austria on its exceptional rail network. However, if you are planning to visit small towns and villages, you will need to rent a car as most are not near rail lines.
